About This Commercial Pinfish Z-Trap

This trap is built to catch pinfish fast, so you stop paying $12 to $20 a dozen for live bait every time you head out. Instead of the four-sided cloverleaf shape, this trap uses a Z-shaped body with an entry funnel at each end of the channel, each one feeding its own bait box. Fish swim in following the bait scent, work their way down the channel, and have a hard time finding their way back out, which means more bait in the box per soak.

It's built from premium 16-gauge, PVC-coated welded wire with a bonding process that holds up in saltwater. Fasteners are stainless steel or aluminum, so rust isn't an issue even after months in the water. It's made for saltwater but works just as well in lakes, ponds, and rivers, and will catch bream, sunfish, mudcats, and perch too.

It arrives ready to use. Add bait, tie it off with rope, and drop it in near your target fish.
