Perch Trap - Four Leaf Clover Style
This Four Leaf Clover perch trap is a tested tried and true design, and it's been a staple bait trap that fishermen have trusted for decades. Our rendition of this trap was designed with three major goals in mind. We wanted to produce a high-quality trap that 1) catches the perch FAST, 2) will last for years when cared for properly, and 3) won't break the bank.
We have built and sold thousands of these traps over the years, and we confidently believe that we have accomplished our goals. This is truly a great trap that will catch the bait quickly.
Perch Trap Build and Dimensions
Dimensions:
- Large - 23 in x 23 in x 11.5 in
- Medium - 23 in x 23 in x 8 in
- Rust Resistant Construction
- Constructed from 19 gauge, 1/2" x 1/2", animal cage quality galvanized hardware cloth. This is a thinner wire but can last for years if the trap is cared for properly.
- Fastened with premium aluminum hog rings for longevity.
- Marine-grade bungee to hold the doors in place.

Species of Bait Fish Approved for this Perch Trap
- Bluegill, Sunfish, Bream (all called "perch" in the south)
- Eel
- Bullhead Catfish
- Pinfish (salt water)
- Crawfish
Anglers can target almost any species of bait they wish to catch in this trap. You can even catch snakes and birds... so be careful!

What is Included with this Perch Trap?
This trap comes ready to catch live bait! There are two doors on the trap: One for adding your bait into the bait holding tube (center of trap); and the other is at the bottom of the trap where you can easily empty the trap of your catch.
All you have to do is: (1) put your bait in the trap (bread, dog food, etc) (2) throw the trap and shallow water (3) tie the trap off and THAT’S IT!!! Very easy to use and you will be catching your own perch like a pro in no time at all.
